AOK 10KM RUN
A fast 10K through “Elbflorenz”– whether you’re aiming for a new personal best or running 10 km in one go for the first time, this race is for YOU! Sign up for then AOK 10KM RUN!
You’ll start right at the historic Erlweinspeicher (now the Maritim Hotel Dresden) – the very spot where our marathon finish line stood until 2024. After crossing the Elbe River, you’ll explore the Innere Neustadt, passing by the Japanese Palace and the government district of Dresden.
On your way to the WaldschlößchenBridge, you’ll experience the stunning natural beauty of the Dresden Elbe meadows. After another river crossing, the course follows the left-bank Elbe cycle path, leading you back towards the Old Town. You’ll run directly under the Brühl Terrace, past the “Semperoper”, and straight to the Marathon Gate of the Heinz-Steyer Stadium.
With the cheers of enthusiastic spectators and a final half-lap on the stadium track, you’ll cross the grand finish line of the 25th DRESDEN MARATHON!
